Dr Sagade is highly skilled in treating complex skeletal anomalies, congenital limb length discrepancies, and severe angular bone deformities. Having successfully handled the point-of-care Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) ultrasound screening clinic at B.J. Wadia Hospital for Children, he is a passionate advocate for establishing universal newborn DDH screenings across India, ensuring that hip irregularities are detected and corrected non-surgically during infancy. His comprehensive skillset also spans neuromuscular care, including specialized gait analysis and treatments for children with Cerebral Palsy, as well as delicate pediatric growth-plate trauma.
Dr Sagade’s clinical expertise is backed by an elite medical education and extensive international training. After earning his MBBS from MIMER Medical College, Pune, and his MS in Orthopedics from Dr V.M. Government Medical College, Solapur, he secured his DNB from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He then spent years sharpening his skills through prestigious fellowships in the United Kingdom, serving as a Senior Fellow in Pediatric Orthopedics at the University Hospital of Southampton and the world-renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, Greater London. He also holds the distinguished MIPDEd credential from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.
Beyond the operating room, Dr Sagade is a prominent figure in the global orthopedic research community. He is a published author of over eleven peer-reviewed scientific papers and authoritative textbook chapters, including contributions to Principles of Pediatric and Neonatal Emergencies. An award-winning researcher, he won the prestigious K.S. Masalawala Best Paper Award at WIROC and has been invited to present his clinical breakthroughs at top-tier international summits, including EPOSNA in the United States and the British Limb Reconstruction Society (BLRS) in the UK.
